CRUISE EDEN

The Eden Port welcomes cruise ships from around Australia and from overseas.

On Sunday, 4th August 2019, the Eden Breakwater Wharf extension was officially opened.  A key community event that included a Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony along with ribbon and cake cutting!

Eden welcomed the P&O Pacific Explorer (P&O Cruises Australia) as our first ever cruise ship alongside on Sunday, 15th September 2019.   An amazing reward for a community that has worked hard for many years to see this project come to fruition. Perfect weather, a fantastic welcoming community, Local, State and Federal Government support and over 2,000 happy passengers made for a great day in Eden that will be remembered!

An Eden Cruise Day Milestone

On Friday, 5th April 2019, we had a musical visit from the Noordam (Holland America Line).  This marked the last visit from our biggest ever cruise season!!  It was an amazing day where jazz filled the streets of Eden and nearly 2,000 American passengers made their way around Eden and the Sapphire Coast.

It also marked the last time passengers come into Eden via tender … with the wharf being finished for the 2019/20 visits. Some of our Cruise Eden volunteers marked the occasion with a fabulous send off!

Our Harbour Master boards all vessels coming into Eden to ensure safe passage into Twofold Bay.
