Cruise Eden Co-Ordinator Nat Godward has reported that there are now 9 ships booked for the 2015/16 season. This season will be affected by the major works at the unloading wharf but we all know it’s for the best in the long term and Nat is working closely with all the relevant stakeholders to ensure the operations are as smooth as possible while works are in progress.
If you want to keep up-to-date on what ships are scheduled, just check out the Eden Port Shipping Schedule website which is updated on a (reasonably) regular basis.
In the meantime, Nat regularly joins Chamber President Jenny Robb and Vice President Gail Ward at the Port Extension Community Liaison Group meetings where full details are provided on progress. As well as this, Nat has been holding a number of meetings with key stakeholders such as Port Authority and cruise ship companies to ensure all are up-to-date with what’s happening.
