Eden Business & Community Awards 2018 was hosted by the Eden Chamber of Commerce. This event is held biennially, to acknowledge the people, businesses and community organisations that are positioning Eden for a bright future.
The Eden Business & Community Awards are made up of the People’s Choice categories, and an Excellence in Business category.
People’s Choice consists of five categories with nominations open to the community to acknowledge exceptional dedication, service and the ability to go above and beyond.
The Excellence in Business category entry process requires the business to complete the entry to be considered for the award, with the winner of this category having the opportunity to progress onto regional and state awards through our alignment with the NSW Business Chamber.
An independent panel of judges, made up of local and non-local individuals with business expertise across a variety of sectors, reviewed each nomination. Judging was based on a number of factors in addition to the nominator’s testimonial, and depended on the category.
Gala Awards Evening
The Gala Masquerade Dinner was held on Saturday 11th August in a marquee on the lawns of the Seahorse Inn. Tickets were completely sold out over 2 weeks before the event! All reports were that the evening was an overwhelming success.
